About us

Vila Vitorino, the second oldest chalet (the first one is the chalet of the Countess of Edla, nowadays part of the touristic circuit of Pena’s park) in Sintra hill, was recently restored to become a fine petit hotel.

The property had a deep restoration campaign across 2016-2017; and its original materials preserved, such as the hydraulic tiles; wooden floors, doors and stairs; iron fountain and fences in the garden; even the dove house has been renewed to modern life-style, being integrated as part of the barbecue and pool area.

The old-warm charm and sofisticated athmosphere of the building offers each guest an unique experience, connecting guests not just with local people but also with the place itself and the local culture.

Each of its seven rooms are individually decorated, a balance between traditional and contemporany decoration, where guests will find all the comfort of modern amenities such as cable TV, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

Stay in one of the most emblematic 19th c. chalets in the hill, where important decisions such as improvements in the electrification service and roads to the village (1884-5); construction of the bandstand for Colares’ church (1886); discussion for the construction of the tram that connnects Sintra to Colares (1886); foundation of the fire station (1890) and brassband (1891), were taken within theses walls
